Profitpulse, LDA., Linked Credit Intermediary, with NIPC 518297462 and registration number with the Bank of Portugal 0007892 (hereinafter referred to as DS Ferreiras), is aware of the implications and its responsibility to comply with the changes introduced in relation to personal data protection, namely with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), approved by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 26 April 2016.

1. Purpose of Processing

Personal data is collected exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Commercial management and pre-contractual procedures (credit intermediation);
  • Improvement or customisation of our services;
  • Sending newsletters and other promotional activities. Customers may unsubscribe from the newsletter service by email, clicking on the link provided in the communication.
  • For the purposes of submitting applications online (if applicable).

The data collected is generally limited to name, email address, and area of residence, and is used for the purposes set out in this policy. It can be obtained through:

  • In-person collection (at the shop or during sales events).
  • Documentation strictly necessary for the credit intermediation process.

The personal data collected will be kept for as long as the data subject consents to the purposes set out in 1, or for the period legally required for documentation related to Credit Intermediation activity (Bank of Portugal requirements).

5. Sharing Personal Data

The personal data collected may be shared when strictly necessary:

  • Between DS stores, in order to provide the customer/data subject with a local and reliable service, allowing them to be assisted with the services requested by a store in their vicinity.
  • With Mutuantes Parceiros (banking entities), with whom Profitpulse, LDA. has a binding contract for the provision of credit intermediation services.
6. Rights of Data Subjects

To access, correct, add, update, delete, oppose the processing or change consent for communications, the data subject should contact DS Ferreiras via the email address below. Such requests will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

You may also use this contact form for any clarification or suggestion regarding these terms and conditions. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (CNPD).

7. Cookies

When browsing the DS Ferreiras website, cookies are used which, however, do not collect information that identifies the user. General information is collected, namely how users arrive at and use the websites.

The information collected is used for the purpose of monitoring the number of visits and statistical studies, as well as to ensure that the website functions correctly, to facilitate navigation and to improve the user experience.
